Second Day In Kingdom Of Cambodia!
The CIP that we did on the second day was enjoyable and tiring but it was for a good cause.I feel that the children are not fussy and demanding. They do not complain about anything. I feel very overwhelmed when I gave the gifts out to the students in the village. They were very appreciative and thankful even though the gifts were attractive but not expensive.

When I saw the children play and talked with us, they were all full of enthusiasm. All of them look cheery despite their difficult living conditions. From them, I’ve learnt that we should appreciate the little things we have. I’ve also learnt that we should not take things for granted. Like for example, there was an incident when there was a complaint about our lunch which was KFC. We weren’t thankful enough to have KFC for our lunch.

During dinner, I realized that our behavior was unacceptable as we were all making too much noise. We all talked and laughed loudly that we forgot that there were other people in that restaurant too. We were pretty much inconsiderate and thoughtless. Then, there were also some girls who wore shorts and those are not allowed. Probably those who wore shorts weren’t fully aware of the dangers and consequences of dressing inappropriately. I think that all of us could be more considerate to others and appreciative for what we have.
